This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Together Technology uses on togethertech.app and our hosted platform, and why.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help sites remember things about your visit — like your login state, language preference, or items in a shopping cart.

2. Cookies we use

Together uses a deliberately small set of cookies:

Session cookie — keeps you logged in. Expires when you close your browser unless you check "remember me."
CSRF token — protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery attacks. Strictly necessary.
Preference cookie — remembers UI preferences like dark/light mode (when implemented). Optional.

3. Marketing cookies — off unless you say yes

On this marketing site (togethertech.app) we ask whether you're willing to accept marketing cookies from Meta, so we can measure whether our ads reach the right churches and show follow-up ads to people who showed interest. This is the Meta Pixel, and it is only loaded after you choose "Accept" on the banner. Choose "Decline" and it is never loaded at all — no Meta cookies, no Meta script.

_fbp — set by Meta once you accept, to recognise your browser across visits. Roughly 3 months.
_fbc — set once you accept, if you arrived by clicking one of our ads, to link that click to a later signup. Roughly 3 months.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so declining leaves nothing of ours behind. We honour Global Privacy Control and "Do Not Track" automatically as a refusal, without asking.

This applies to the marketing site only. Our hosted platform (togethertech.io) carries no advertising or social-media tracking.

4. What we still don't use

We do not use:

Advertising or social-media tracking on the hosted platform (togethertech.io)
Cross-site tracking beyond the Meta measurement described above
Any marketing cookie before you have opted in

5. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on this site. It is cookieless and aggregate-only — it counts page views and referrers without storing anything in your browser and without identifying individuals. Because it sets no cookies and tracks no one, it is not part of the consent choice above.

6. Your choices

Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page to change your mind at any time — withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.

You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in.

7. Changes to this policy

We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any material change that would affect you without your agreement.

The marketing cookies in section 3 took effect on 31 July 2026 without that waiting period, because they cannot be set unless you choose "Accept" — if you decline, or simply ignore the banner, nothing about your visit changed.
